Ferric chloride and copper wire fuming is an alternative firing technique where metal salts and wrapped copper are heated to release vapors that stain the bare clay surface with warm rusts, golds, and smoky blushes, creating organic, one-of-a-kind patterns on each piece.

Due to the nature of the firing, this vessel is not water tight and should be used for decorative purposes only.
